EXPLANATION OF M.I.S.T. POINTS

 

Each year on Labor Day weekend, the Midwest Invitational Softball Tournament (M.I.S.T.) occurs.  This tournament rotates annually among the cities of Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Columbus. The registration cost for this tournament usually hovers around $400 per team.  The officers of North Coast Softball decided to award teams that participate the most in making the league a success with money towards this tournament.  The amount of the award is based on the levels of attendance and participation at league functions throughout the year.  Some events to earn "M.I.S.T. points" include: Kickoff party, league fundraisers, recruiting, and the annual Drag Ball.  Since the Drag Ball is the biggest fundraiser for our league, it is weighed the heaviest.   M.I.S.T. is lots of fun for players and non-players alike, with events going on all weekend to compliment the tournament.  Ask anyone who has gone about what a blast they've had in the past!
